ANNEX B: CITATION FORMAT FOR MATERIAL IN THIS VOLUME

One of the issues raised early on in the CFU/FTPP e-conference was how to cite the material that had been circulated. As e-conferencing is a relatively new medium, little information was available on a standard citation format. The e-conference organizers developed their own format, used in the published e-conference proceedings and elsewhere. For those wishing to cite from the discussion papers circulated in the e-conference, a suggested format is provided below:

Anderson, Jon, Michelle Gauthier, Garry Thomas, and Julia Wondolleck. January 1996. Addressing Natural Resource Conflicts through Community Forestry: Setting the Stage. Paper prepared for Session 1: 'Setting the Stage', of the e-conference on Addressing Natural Resource Conflicts through Community Forestry, January - May 1996. Community Forestry Unit, FAO, Rome, Italy.
